Investigation Details - What to expect when CAP conducts an investigation

Overview of Paranormal Activity
The dictionary defines Paranormal as:  Of or pertaining to claimed occurrence of an event or perception without scientific explanation.

Introduction

Capital Area Paranormal is comprised of a group of individuals with a common interest.  We are dedicated to gathering evidence of paranormal activity and posting the evidence to our website in an effort to show people that unexplained occurrences do happen in a variety of locations.  Our clients are usually looking for validation of their experiences so they don't think it's all in their head.  We do not attempt to rid any location of it's activity.  We also do not bring religious beliefs into any investigation.  Paranormal activity can happen to anyone of any faith.  We choose to use a more clinical or scientific method to gather evidence of the paranormal.

Before An Investigation
CAP will set up an interview to talk about your experiences and do a walk-through of the premises.  At this time, the client will sign an Investigation Release Form, basically a permission slip and a Client Confidentiality Form, which will designate if the location can be identified, or remain anonymous. If any history of the location (tragic or otherwise) can be provided before the investigation, it could be helpful as a point of reference during EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) sessions.
